Brianna and Gorav

Montaluce Winery near Dahlonega, Georgia is a Tuscan-inspired vineyard and restaurant with rolling hills, old growth trees and a view that is absolutely stunning. As soon as Brianna and Gorav told me they wanted me to photograph their engagement photos, this was my top choice for them. With the possibility of incorporating a picnic with the vineyard’s own wine, the decision was made!

Brianna and Gorav met at work, and after initially not hitting it off, they decided to give each other another chance, and ever since then, this romance has been like a fairytale. They are completely devoted to each other and I truly believe they are each other’s best friend. I knew an engagement session with them was going to be a beautiful and emotional experience. Brianna has had many health issues and surgeries over her life, and she has come out with more empathy and kindness after all of the difficulties. Gorav has also had to work hard to make his way, and it has only made him more in tune with the needs of others. This is truly one of the kindest couples with the most emotional story.

Because of these hardships, family is very important to both of them. A basket made by Brianna’s mother, Michele, was a thoughtful way to include family in the photos, and the tradition in Gorav’s family of honoring a person by feeding them was included with some delicious cannelloni from Montaluce’s restaurant on site. Enjoying every moment is a priority for Brianna and Gorav, and we had such a fun evening!

We were able to walk through the vineyard, toward the pond on the property and enjoy a beautiful golden hour and sunset. Italian cypress trees line the drive and the view is unparalleled. We had the most relaxed time making romantic images for this sweet couple. Montaluce is always a good choice for a romantic evening!
